Staying Awhile Co. operates stayingawhileco.store and is responsible for the personal information it processes to run this store. Our storefront is hosted using OpenAI Sites; Shopify provides our commerce and checkout services. This policy covers our storefront, checkout, orders, and customer support.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide, such as your name, email, billing and delivery addresses, phone number when provided, order details, support messages, and reviews. Payment providers process payment information; do not send us card details by email. The services also process technical information such as IP address, device and browser information, page and transaction activity, and cart identifiers through hosting logs, cookies, local storage, and similar technologies.
Why we use it
We use information to process payment, fulfill and track orders, handle returns, provide support, protect against fraud, operate and improve the store, and meet legal and tax obligations. Where applicable, our legal bases include performing a contract, legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and securing the business, and consent for optional marketing or technologies where required. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Who receives information
We share information as needed with Shopify and payment providers, OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure, suppliers and fulfillment partners, carriers, support and IT providers, and authorities where legally required. Suppliers receive the order and delivery information needed to ship your purchase. We may also disclose information in a business transfer or to establish or defend legal rights, subject to applicable law.
Cookies, storage, and privacy choices
The storefront stores a cart identifier in your browser so your shopping bag can persist. Hosting and checkout services may use necessary cookies or similar technologies for security, payment, and order functions. Shopify may use additional technologies and enhanced features according to its settings and privacy notices. Where consent is required, optional technologies must be enabled only with that consent. You can control browser storage in browser settings; blocking necessary storage may affect checkout or cart persistence.

We do not exchange personal information for money; certain advertising disclosures may nevertheless be considered a sale or sharing under local law. Marketing and social messages
If you opt into marketing, we may send the communications you agreed to receive. Use the unsubscribe link in an email to stop promotional email. We may still send transactional messages about your purchase. If you contact us or request a product link on social media, the platform and messaging providers process the information needed to handle that request under their own policies.
Retention, security, and international processing
We keep information as long as reasonably needed for orders, support, legal records, dispute resolution, and the purposes described here, then delete or de-identify it as appropriate. No system guarantees absolute security. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries. Where required for transfers from the EEA or UK, appropriate safeguards, such as approved standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions, apply.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of your information; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Email us to exercise a right. We may verify your identity and an agent’s authority, and will respond within applicable legal deadlines without discrimination. You may appeal a denied request by contacting us, and you may complain to your local privacy regulator.
Children and updates
The store is intended for adult purchasers. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information; a parent or guardian can contact us about information a child provided. We will post updates here with a revised date and provide additional notice when required.
